Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
PhishLens analyzes email content submitted by you to help identify phishing and other suspicious messages. This policy explains how that information is handled.
Information you submit
When you upload an email file or paste raw email content, PhishLens processes the content in memory to generate an analysis. The application does not intentionally save uploaded emails or their attachments after the analysis is complete.
Third-party services
PhishLens may send extracted URLs to VirusTotal for reputation checks and may send limited analysis context to Groq to produce an explanation. These services process information under their own privacy policies. Avoid submitting emails that contain highly sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information unless you are authorized to do so.
Technical data
The hosting provider may collect standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, request time, and error information for security and operational purposes.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the service changes. The date above will be revised when material changes are made.
